Well in case you live under a rock (or just haven't noticed yet), little by little the most relevant things teens did or wore in the early 90's are coming back to life, and i just couldn't be more excited. When i think about those years the first things that pops in my mind are chunky shoes, chokers, half ponytails, high waisted pants and the smell of cigarette on school uniforms. And no, sadly i didn't live my teenage years in the 90's but if i could go back, i would.

So now i'll show you some of what i remember seeing my cousins and sister wear/use when i was a kid. The "must haves" back then and you'll think about how close they are to the things we see teens use today.

----------------------------------

:Tattoo Chokers:

i myself have been looking for one everywhere but i can't find them anywhere.

According to my sister, when it came to this chokers, the more you had, the cooler you were. I think a black one would work for me, no more.

:Plaid:

Plaid is the type of thing that never really goes out of style, but you’ll notice that it is popping up a lot more recently than usual. The thing about plaid that makes this Gen-Y trend different from what it was in the 90s is that the plaid skirts, blazers and pants, which our good friend, Cher Horowitz, made popular, have been replaced with button downs.(Nizza Does Fashion)

:Combat Boots:

Grunge boots have been making their return for a few years, but that does not mean the trend is dying down, at all. Today, you see girls sporting combat boots with leggings, jeans, dresses, and virtually anything; Back in the 90s, the bad boys wore combat boots as their go-to shoes. No matter who dons this grungy trend these days, you are sure to look trendy with a bit of an edge.

:Parachute Pants:
Becoming most popular with MC Hammer in the 90s, these pants were a huge hit with men and women alike across the country. These days, track pants are definitely back, now with a variety of looks, from parachute style to slim and more form fitting. These are the biggest hit with women because they are not only chic, but comfortable, too. Grab them in any print or color to go with pretty much everything in your wardrobe. Some of the public figures i see the most with these pants are Jaden Smith, Moises Arias, and all that "MSFTS" crew.

And yes, i do know there are LOADS of trends that are back from more than 5 years, but in your opinion, do you think its nice to have all these "old" trends back, or do you think they should've stayed where we left them?  Or maybe you were left hanging with one you love but no one embraces it anymore! Let me know in the comments!!!

PUNTA CANA ; #SpringBreakersRD

In case you don't know this, i live in Dominican Republic aka paradise (yeah, i know) and this last weekend my family decided to go on a little road trip and spend the night somewhere else.
Last time we were in PC was about three, almost four years ago probably, and the time we went with someone who spends most of his time there so he basically toured us around the whole area and took us to the beaches we had no idea they even existed such as the one near the apartment we stayed in and Macao= my new favorite beach.

This weekend God kinda slapped me with a "yo, i know what i'm doing, calm down". At first i was not looking forward to this trip at all, and everything turned out way better than expected. I got to see so many "hidden" places i have in my country i didn't know about.

We went to this village called Capcana which is famous (i don't know if thats the right term to use but whatever) in Punta Cana for the first time and it'll surely not be the last one. The place is so beautiful and peaceful like you can't even hear the birds.. exactly.

NYC TRIP

Hey gorgeous! guess who's back back back again. I haven't been here in a long time, i know, but when i did i got the nice surprise of finding that all my old posts are gone, why? i have no idea. Anyhow, back to business. Around two weeks ago i took my first plane to my actual hometown, New York (apart from when i was born obviously) and thank God i went now and not 5 years ago when my mom would've forced me to use over protective coats, ugly sneakers and all that stuff mothers make kids wear.

Where to start?! I was there for only 5 days and oh boy, that was enough for me to make the decision that i have to live there for at least a full year, everything about New York drove me crazy, and no, you don't have to tell me that "things are different once you move" crap cause it's obvious. But anyhow, whilst being in the capital of the world, i obviously had to buy things that may or may not have been necessary in my life, but who cares. I made my first purchase in American Apparel i cried when i saw it and i got shoes! well, not me, my sister did but, i use them too so you get my point. Coolest thing about this AA was that its an outlet aka !!SALES!! Their high waited jeans that are normally around 70$ cost 10/15$ so you may understand my pain when i found out they had my size, but not the colors i was looking for.. yes, ouch. These are the shoes we got ,they normally cost 42$ and we bought them for 15$, can i get an hallelujah?; they're incredibly comfortable and go with everything so i highly recommend them to anyone who wants a pair!

We grabbed one or five hundred other things at other stores as Supreme, Kid Robot, H&M, F21, Saks Fifth Avenue, Dillard's, Macy's, some tea shop that was frickn bomb diggity but i forgot the name cause my aunt kept the bags, Chelsea Market (we got cupcakes and whoopie pies) and many other stores.

Anyhow, those have been the best 5 days of my life, literally. I'll just leave tons of pictures here so you guys know the rest of the places we visited and whatsoever. Thank you for your time, over n out, N.
